I know better than to eat cheap chinese food in midtown, I really do. But today I went ahead anyway. And boy am I sorry.

I have been eating less and less meat lately. I still have a hard time passing up the free turkey sandwiches at company lunches, but it seems like for a while I have been psyching myself up to go vegetarian again.
Today I forgot to bring chili to work again. Then I got to work and remembered I had forgot that we are having a staff lunch meeting today.
Last night I made a big pot of chili and then forgot to bring it in for lunch. Crap. I cooked off a bunch of potatoes for potato salad, too. Tonight I will add the celery and mayonnaise, etc. And tomorrow I will have a kick-ass lunch. If I can remember to bring in, that is. Saw tlc on the grammys last night. Chili is my favorite.
I had great luck with my trains this morning, although I am breaking the prime law of train karma by gloating about it. I didn’t have any coffee though… i forgot my lunch in the fridge so ashley and I went to a new noodle place that opened up across the street. I think tuesday was their first day and we have been there every day since. It’s called garuda and it’s on 52 vanderbilt ave, right near grand central. Check your soup to make sure it’s all there. It all tastes real good but the cooks are a little absent minded. Be cautious with the imported japanese fruit jelly snacks on the counter, you don’t just want to gulp it down without inspecting it first, like I did. Now i’m sorry.
