I bought my first deadbolt lock today and I have all weekend to install it.

OK- I got my keys no problem. No conspiracy, they were just a little disorganized over at the realty office. When I went to their office and talked to the woman at the desk, I was relieved to see that she had a jesus and the virgin screen saver on her computer.

This oficially sucks. I went to the new address that I got over the phone and the occupants there had no idea what I was talking about. First thing tomorrow, I am walking over to the building owner’s office and politely ask for the keys, and not leave without them.

Well saturday I signed my lease and forked over lots of money to complete strangers. The thing is, no one gave me a key. I did get a firstname and an address of the building superintendent who was the one with my key, but after three visits this weekend with nobody home, I was starting to worry. I just called the office of my landlord, and they told me the name of someone else in a different apartment to ask for my key.
